Placing an Order
Department orders may be submitted via emailed to: Li_ArtsLab@uvu.edu or dropped off in person at the lab. Please include:
- your contact information
- the size & quantity of your request
- the banner index number for invoicing
- your file in either a PDF or JPEG format at the size you wish it to be printed
To avoid large email attachments use your UVU box account, or similar service and generate a downloadable web link that can then be inserted into an email.
Personal projects require payment at the time the order is placed.
Wide Format Printing
Printing on the Canon Pro-4000 printer is perfect for banners, conference posters, and photo assignments. The lab offers both photo satin and banner vinyl media. 24”, 36” and 42” rolls are available.
Window Cutting in Mats
Custom window mats for artwork and photography are created using the Valiani Mat Pro-cmc. Lab staff will assist in creating mats to your exact specifications. Download our mat cutting worksheet and fill in the dimensions you require to save time while at the lab. [Download PDF Worksheet]
Mounting artwork and posters to foam core using the VacuSeal gives your project a rigid support. Conference posters, hallway signs and photos are just some of the uses.
Mat, Illustration and Foam Board Trimming
The Excalibur 3000 is perfect for cutting mat and illustration boards as well as foam board and cardboard.
Color and B&W Xerox Printing
Color and B&W Xerox printing can also be completed at the lab. Tabloid Extra size printing allows a full bleed trim to 11x17. Panaramic Xerox printing of 12”x40” can also be completed.
Soft Laminating services are also available in the lab.
Printing Services also provides in the lab a “self serve” fax machine that is free to use for the UVU community. (we do ask that use of the free fax services is for personal/department “non-commercial” use)
